“Sue’s Places,” a football-themed documentary series hosted by legendary quarterback Peyton Manning, was developed by ESPN and Omaha Productions following the success of “Peyton’s Places.” The show follows legendary guard Sue Bird as she conducts interviews with prominent figures, coaches, and former players to learn more about the history of college basketball.

How can You watch ‘Sue’s Places’?

The first episode of “Sue’s Places” airs on January 31. New episodes air on ESPN+ every Wednesday.

Ten episodes total; the last one airs on April 3. The complete Places Universe catalogue is available to fans here. The first four episodes are broken down as follows:

EPISODE 1: Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd are met by Sue when she returns to UConn to milk cows with Geno Auriemma.

EPISODE 2: To assist Jayhawks superfan Jason Sudeikis experience the legendary Kansas basketball moments he’s missed, Sue enlists the aid of Danny Manning, Mario Chalmers, and Bill Self.

EPISODE 3: Sue travels to NC State to discover the history of cutting down the nets and meets Dawn Staley, whose programme in South Carolina has honed the craft of cutting nets.

Episode 4: Sue catches up with Iowa Hawkeyes sensation Caitlin Clark, who competes in a “from the logo” battle against former NBA player and BYU great Jimmer Fredette.

Who is Sue Bird?

One of the all-time greats in the WNBA and NCAA is Bird.

The 13-time WNBA All-Star has won four WNBA championships, two NCAA titles, five EuroLeague titles, and five gold medals at the Olympics. In 2021, she was awarded USA Basketball’s Female Athlete of the Year.

Bird has the third-highest steal total (725) and eighth-highest point total (6,803) in WNBA history in addition to being the league’s all-time leader in assists (3,234) and games played (580). Following the 2022 season, she retired.
