They recently collaborated with pop queen Madonna on The Weeknd’s HBO drama series, “The Idol,” on “Popular,” which peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 14 on the Hot R&B/Hip. Hop Songs was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in June.
“Timeless” is the second single released ahead of The Weeknd’s album Hurry Up Tomorrow, the third and final installment of his After Hours/Dawn FM trilogy. The previous album, “Dancing in the Flames,” debuted at No. 14 on the Hot 100 this week (as of September 28th). Carti’s latest single, “All Red,” from his upcoming third studio album, I Am Music, debuted at No. 15 on the Songs chart, marking his first top 10 as a solo lead artist on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The Atlanta rapper and new Billboard cover star scored his first No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year with an appearance on Ye & Ty Dolla $ign’s “Carnival,” which also features Rich the Kid.
