Krispy Kreme Brings Ghostbusters-Themed Doughnuts to Mexico

Here got the complete reveal and your first peek, in response to yesterday’s news that Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Mexico would be celebrating Halloween with a Ghostbusters-inspired collection!

Four different doughnut varieties are available in the lineup, each one drawing inspiration from iconic Ghostbusters iconography and classic characters like Slimer, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, a sprinkle-coated proton blast, and Mooglie, the franchise’s no-ghost logo.

The Stay Puft doughnut has a lot of marshmallow, as expected, while the other varieties have more unique flavor combinations. These are listed below:

Original Glazed® with Neon Sprinkles and Coating

MARSHMALLOW MAN
Marshmallow Frosting and Chocolate Marshmallow Man

Officially launching today, this limited-edition collection will be accessible at Krispy Kreme shops across Mexico through November 3. There have been no statements regarding possible availability in other locations, such as North America, thus far. But with Halloween still a month away, there probably will be more surprises—keep checking back!

To recap the connection between Krispy Kreme and Ghostbusters, in 2014, Krispy Kreme introduced themed marshmallow Kreme-filled doughnuts in the US and Canada in honor of Ghostbusters’ 30th anniversary. Later, to promote Ghostbusters: Afterlife, South Africa had its own special Krispy Kreme tie-in. Flavors included “Fizzy Red Apple Kreme,” which had no ghosts, and “Marshmallow Iced & Choc Kreme,” which had a Mini-Puft theme.
