Jimmy John’s Introduces Pickle Lovers’ Dream Sandwich — No Bread, Just Giant Pickles

Did you ever think, “Hmm, this would be a lot better if the two pieces of bread were replaced with pickles,” after tasting a sandwich? Jimmy John’s is offering the ideal sandwich for you if that’s the case.

On Thursday, the sandwich restaurant revealed that it would be launching the Picklewich for a brief period of time. According to the brand, the Picklewich “combines all the signature fresh flavors of a classic Jimmy John’s sandwich,” but it has a twist: instead of bread, a big kosher dill pickle provides a “juicy, crunchy and satisfying bite.”

According to the firm, there will be two picklewich varieties: the Vito and the Turkey & Provolone.

  • Vito Picklewich: consists of a large kosher dill pickle that has been gutted and stuffed with provolone cheese, capocollo, salami, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, sauce, and herbs.
  • The Turkey Picklewich: A large kosher dill pickle that has been gutted and stuffed with turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion is called a turkey picklewich.

According to the sandwich company, the sandwiches will be offered at participating sites across the country from October 28 to November 14.

On November 3, in observance of National Sandwich Day, Freaky Fast Reward members will get 50% off the Picklewich when they buy any 8-inch sandwich, according to the press release from Jimmy John’s. Customers may also purchase their favorite 8-inch sandwich any time after 2 p.m. beginning on Nov. 3 and get a free combo that includes a bag of chips and a drink through December.

Pickle Jimmy Chips is also returning

The sandwich brand is reintroducing its Pickle Jimmy Chips, which it describes as a “salty, sour, dilly twist” on their traditional Jimmy Chips, in addition to the Picklewich.
