Apple Announces WWDC 2025 Dates – What Surprises Are in Store?

Apple has revealed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 is set to take place from June 9 to June 13. This event is a platform for the tech giant to showcase upcoming versions of its operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, along with new tools designed for developers.

Continuing the trend from previous years, the conference will be held online, making it accessible to all Apple developers. Additionally, there will be a live keynote presentation at Apple Park on June 9.

Reports suggest that Apple is gearing up for significant software updates for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac in WWDC 2025 event. According to Bloomberg, the iOS 19 update is expected to be “the biggest revamp since iOS 7.”

In addition to software enhancements, the event may also unveil new hardware products and potentially introduce a more advanced version of Siri.

“Available for free to all developers, WWDC25 will spotlight the latest advancements in Apple software,” the company wrote in a press release. “As part of Apple’s ongoing commitment to supporting developers, the conference will provide them with unique access to Apple experts, as well as insight into new tools, frameworks, and features.”

Apple has announced that there would be a limited in-person component at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, in addition to the online experience. Developers who come in person will be able to take part in group and one-on-one labs with Apple experts, see the keynote and State of the Union live, and take part in exclusive activities. The WWDC25 website has information on how to apply to attend in person.
