Obsidian Entertainment, the company behind Outer Worlds, is set to release their fantasy roleplaying game Avowed on Xbox One and PC this autumn. Compared to the game’s initial release window of “2024,” this is a minor upgrade. In particular, Avowed will launch on the Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam and Xbox, and Game Pass will be accessible from the outset.
Avowed is a big first-person RPG with a classic fantasy vibes. As part of a quest for the realm of Aedyr, players will embark on a journey across the Living Lands. Players have been dispatched to explore the cause of the plague that is sweeping the island of the Living Lands; in the process, they will learn more about their particular connection to the area and its mysteries.
Players are free to choose how they want to handle dialogue and battle thanks to the game’s support for several play styles. Amidst the magic, monsters, guns, swords, shields, and other weapons, allies will help the party on their journey. It’s likely that you’ll enjoy Avowed if you enjoyed Skyrim.
Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Pentiment, Outer Worlds, and more titles are among the titles that Obsidian is renowned for making. In 2018, Microsoft acquired the studio.
