Becky G will release a new album on October 10th, the singer announced Thursday, along with a new single, “Como Diablos” (via Kemosabe Records/Sony Music Latin/RCA Records). Her fourth studio album is titled “Encuentros” and coincides with the dates of her upcoming tour, “Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo (Another Chapter)”.
“Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo” is an extension of Becky’s first headlining tour. The tour supports her 2023 album, “Esquinas,” and features collaborations with Peso Pluma, Iván Cornejo, Danylux and other standouts of the new wave of musica Mexicana that has been gaining momentum in recent years.
In a post uploaded to her social media, Becky wrote, “My last album Esquinas started a fire within my creative soul that brought new colors to my world and deep down inside I knew I couldn’t stop there… So I didn’t. Since last year, I continued discovering, feeling, healing and creating. All of the parts of me that I found along the way, I have now poured into this album with so much love and dedication. You guys said you wanted more, and so did I. Por las Esquinas de la vida, nos Encontramos otra vez (“On each corner of life, we’ll find each other again.”)
Her new single, “Como Diablos,” is a continuation of this trumpet-driven musical style and was written by Sara Shell and Hector Enrique Guerrero, who also co-wrote her previous album, “Mercedes.”
Becky will begin a tour of Mexican American communities across the United States, starting in Chicago, Illinois with 14 stops in cities such as Milwaukee, San Antonio, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, and San Diego.
