Fast food chains across the country will soon be adding spooky or downright crazy items to their menus to celebrate Halloween.
At Burger King, the Addams Family menu will be available starting Oct. 10 while supplies last, a spokesperson for the Miami-based chain told Fox News Digital.
A press release describes “Gomez’s Churro Fries” as “deliciously crispy, fried churros coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with chocolate dipping sauce.” Other offerings include “Thing’s Rings,” onion rings with new packaging, “Wednesday`s Whopper,” and “Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake,” which is described as “creamy soft serve mixed with chocolate cake batter fudge and topped with black and purple cookie pieces.”
A Burger King representative told Fox News Digital that the new Halloween-themed products are the newest in the chain’s “unique innovations inspired by spooky season.”
According to the spokesman, the products were the outcome of a partnership with Amazon MGM Studios consumer goods.
In addition, a number of breakfast options with a Halloween theme will be available at Dunkin’, the Massachusetts-based firm announced in a press release on October 1.
In 2024, the “Spider Specialty Donut” had a transformation, going from its original orange color to a purple one.
A chocolate-glazed Munchkin doughnut hole, “complete with chocolate drizzle for spider legs and white drizzle forming the eyes,” is placed on top of it, according to Dunkin’.
Joining the unique doughnut are two similarly purple “Potion Macchiato” drinks.
“Available hot or iced, this showstopping beverage blends layers of espresso and milk with a vibrant, purple marshmallow ube flavor,” claimed Dunkin’.
According to Dunkin, a new item this year is a “Halloween Munchkins Bucket,” which holds 50 doughnut holes.
These products will go on sale on October 16.
According to the news release, Dunkin’ Vice President of Category Management Beth Turenne expressed her excitement to “give customers a delicious way to celebrate the spooky season.”
