Taking children on a summer vacation to Walt Disney World has just become more affordable.
This week, the Florida theme park revealed that it is now offering tickets for kids aged 3 to 9 at half price, along with additional family-oriented discounts and entertainment options for the summer season.
Here’s what you need to know about these exciting offers.
Half-price tickets for kids available until September 20
You can now purchase half-price tickets for children.
This 50% discount applies to three-day tickets or longer and is valid for visits from May 27 through September 20, 2025.
For Disney World ticket pricing, adults are considered to be 10 years and older, while children under 3 can enter for free.
Return of the Free Dining Plan Offer
Guests visiting Disney can enjoy a free dining plan when they purchase a non-discounted package for four nights and four days (or longer) that includes accommodations at select Disney Resort hotels and a Park Hopper ticket.
This promotion is available for visits on specific dates from June 29 to December 22, 2025.
Children’s Activities at Magic Kingdom and Epcot
From May 27 to September 1, new attractions tailored for children will debut at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
The kid zones in Magic Kingdom, located in Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland, will feature fresh activities and chances to engage with beloved Disney characters.
At Epcot, Goofy is set to take over CommuniCore Hall, providing a refreshing and entertaining space for kids, which Disney refers to as the “ultimate game party and play area.”
Exciting new shows and a nighttime parade
Later this summer, Magic Kingdom will introduce a brand-new nighttime parade showcasing beloved characters from “Peter Pan,” “Frozen,” “Encanto,” and more.
The Disney Starlight parade marks the first nighttime parade at Disney World in nearly ten years, as stated by the company.
At Hollywood Studios, two fresh shows aimed at children will launch on May 27: “The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure” and “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After.”
Character visits at select Disney hotels
This summer, several resorts—including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge—will host character visits and introduce new Disney-themed activities for families to enjoy.
