If you have YouTube TV and want to watch ESPN, you’re out of luck right now.
All Disney-owned channels left YouTube TV at 12:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, leaving millions (including yours truly) without ESPN networks on the popular streaming platform.
Starting with this week’s Vikings-Bears game, there will be no Monday Night Football. Unless there’s a way to watch it elsewhere. We’ll attempt to work things out and let you know by Monday night. If not, I’ll just watch The Office on Peacock after the Raiders-Browns game on NFL Network comes to a close.
Hopefully, before Monday night, YouTube TV and Disney will get their act together. Comcast and YouTube TV struck a deal earlier this year to keep all NBC-related channels on the platform. Disney and YouTube TV clearly failed to ensure that their common customers received consistent service.
The good news is that YouTube TV has vowed to lowering its monthly subscription price from $64.99 to $49.99. Because many consumers will be migrating to another service that includes ESPN channels, the price will drop to $0.00 for many users.
