These days, oily skin is one of the most common issues. Especially now that the weather is changing. Skin appears oily when too much sebum is generated, and oily skin can contribute to acne and other skin disorders. The main causes of oily skin are hormones and genetics. Sebum production increases on the skin layer as sebaceous glands mature, and the greater the androgen levels in the body, the more sebum is funnelled through the pores. This sebum collects on the skin’s surface, making it oily. Pimples and blackheads form when too many of these oils become stuck in the pores and mix with dead skin cells and germs.
You can treat your oily skin in a variety of ways. Stop using untested oily skin products on your skin, since they may aggravate your skin problems even more. Instead, stick to tried-and-true oily skin products. There are several skin care suggestions for oily skin that you should follow:

- Oily skin requires moisturising and hydrating on a regular basis. The sebaceous glands will create even more oil to compensate if the skin is exposed to moisture. As a result, hydrate your skin with an oil-free, non-comedogenic, water-based moisturiser on a daily basis.
- Always use a primer while applying makeup since it helps to keep sebum under control. It also helps to keep your makeup in place for a longer period of time.
