The political and social genre was sparked by his work. In 2006, Abdulhussain established and directed Funoon TV, the first Arabic-language entertainment channel to concentrate on comedic programming.
Abdulhussain’s powerful singing voice, bold social commentary, and role as a father figure in Kuwaiti comedy are all remembered. His comedy not only made the audience laugh, but it also made them think about issues that affect Arab societies.
Today, his numerous films and plays can be enjoyed for both amusement and information about the satirized historical moments.
