Japan’s Mountain Day was established in 2014 and celebrated for the first time in a national ceremony in the Japanese Alps in 2016. Today, the country’s citizens appreciate and celebrate nature, even visiting the world-famous 3,775-meter-tall Mount Fuji. Not only is Mount Fuji the tallest mountain in Japan, it is also made up of three separate active volcanos.
