LinkedIn is a great platform to connect and engage with others. It’s where you can learn about new opportunities and connect with people you can learn from to expand your own expertise. There’s a wealth of information out there, so take advantage of it!

Like anything else, you need to start with the basics. No matter where you are in the game, you should keep working on optimizing your LinkedIn profile. Additionally, you should regularly engage with your contacts and their content. People are more likely to engage with those who interact with them. Reciprocity is key on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. You only get back what you give.

You should also perform specific searches to look for opportunities. You can search for specific people, companies, industries, and roles. Select Advanced Filters to find exactly who and what you’re looking for.

And finally, be yourself. No one likes inauthentic people. Authenticity and positive energy are very important on LinkedIn, so be generous with both and you’ll be successful.
