Part 2 of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story season 12, “Delicate,” is finally here. This episode, the first of his five episodes, will air on FX Wednesday, April 3 at 10 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
Season 12, which premiered in September 2023, saw Kim Kardashian and Cara Delevingne join AHS veteran Emma Roberts, who plays Anna Alcott, an actress whose pregnancy plans are thwarted. This season is based on Daniel Valentine’s thriller novel A Delicate Condition, which is the first story in the Murphy Anthology series to be published as a book.
The Kardashian Season 12 starring role was the reality star’s most high-profile performance to date. Other cast members for season 12 include Zachary Quinto, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Odessa Azion, Billie Lourd, Julie White, Debra Monk, and Denis O’Hare.
Valentine, whose book was published on Aug. 1, calls the story “a body horror novel about pregnancy.”
“The ways that we describe pregnancy—delicate condition, bun in the oven, she’s in a family way—it’s so infantilizing for something that is among the most dangerous, life-changing experiences that a human being can go through.” Valentine said in an interview. With Vanity Fair. Her book, which Murphy optioned for publication in 2022, was recreated by Haru Pfeiffer, who also serves as showrunner for season 12 of “AHS.”
American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2 will be available on Hulu starting April 3rd.
