“Tensions rise as Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) attempt to get their late-night show off the ground and make history doing it,” is the official logline for Season 4.
Tensions between Deborah and Ava are evident as they exit a conference room in the teaser. “Well, aren’t you a big brave girl?” Deborah sneers. “I guess I am. It’s for the best,” Ava quips back. Deborah looks Ava directly in the eyes before calmly responding, “We’ll see.”
