There will be plenty of famous athletes and celebrities competing in Friday’s annual NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Indianapolis. CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans, Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys, and Metta World Peace, a former forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, are among the participants.
The two teams’ respective head coaches will be ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith and NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe. Rapper Lil Wayne and two-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson will coach Team Stephen A, while rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will coach Team Shannon.
NFL pass rusher Micah Parsons, IndyCar Series driver Conor Daly, actor Quincy Isaiah, Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd, streamer Kai Cenat, actor Dylan Wang, TV host Lilly Singh, singer-songwriter SiR, country music star Walker Hayes, and Latin singer Anuel AA are among the celebrities scheduled to play for Team Shannon.
Actress Jennifer Hudson, former NBA player Metta World Peace, basketball performer Jack Ryan, singer AJ McLean, quarterback C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans, chef Kwame Onwuachi, guard Natasha Cloud of the Phoenix Mercury, content creator Tristan Jass, musician Adam Blackstone, and Olympic high-jump champion Gianmarco Tamberi will make up Team Stephen A.
Celebrities and athletes from other sports test their skills on the hardwood, which usually results in some amusing moments. Given that the NBA has made a few minor adjustments to the yearly event, this year might be even more exciting than normal. The game will be played on an innovative LED court with a moving 3-point line.
The Ruffles 4-Point Ridgeline and Ruffles Crunch Time will also be featured at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. In addition, a one-minute shooting competition in the style of a relay will take place called the Ruffles Flamin’ Hot Challenge.
