How to Watch the 2024 Golden Globe Nominations

The Golden Globe nominees for 2024 are about to be revealed as the awards season gets started. Monday, December 11 at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT will see the announcement of the film and television nominees.

The nominations will be unveiled by Wilmer Valderrama and Cedric the Entertainer; they will first be made available on CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes. Half an hour later, ten categories will be revealed exclusively on “CBS Mornings.” The nominees will be announced simultaneously on the Golden Globes social media platforms.

Apart from its live broadcast on CBS, the 2024 Golden Globes will also be accessible for streaming on Paramount+. These are scheduled for January 7 and will air on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, following an NFL doubleheader. CBS will broadcast the ceremony for the first time in more than 40 years. After a private ceremony in 2022, the Golden Globes are back on television for a second year.

The January event will feature two new awards: Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television and Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures.

This year’s popular titles include “Oppenheimer,” “Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Barbie,” “Poor Things,” “Succession,” “The Last of Us,” “The Bear,” and “Ted Lasso.” The awards honour achievements in both film and television. The Golden Globes distinguish between musical/comedy films and dramas, which is noteworthy.

Dick Clark Productions, a division of Penske Media Corporation, organises, presents, and hosts the Golden Globes. This year’s showrunners for the ceremony are Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, with Weiss also acting as director.
