The latest season of the Emmy Award-winning satirical superhero drama “The Boys” is about to begin.
Based on the comic book of the same name, the series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, and Antony Starr and follows a vigilante group trying to take down corrupt superheroes who misuse their superpowers. Season 1 streamed on Amazon’s streaming service, Prime Video, in 2019.
The series has inspired other series set in the same universe, including “Gen V,” which premiered in September 2023, the animated series “Diabolical” in March 2022, and the web series “Seven on 7” in July 2021. .
Ahead of the premiere of season 4, showrunner Eric Kripke announced on social media on Tuesday that season 5 of “The Boys” will be the last.
