The first of several presidential debates before the 2024 election will be the earliest in electoral history, pitting Democratic candidate Joe Biden against Republican candidate Donald Trump once again.
Simulcasts and additional coverage will be available on CBS and C-SPAN. CNN will host the first debate in Atlanta, Georgia. No audience will be in attendance to allow the candidates to make the most of their allotted time.
Jon Stewart will host a live episode of The Daily Show after two previously confirmed debates for Comedy Central.

When will the first presidential debate take place in 2024?
The first of several debates leading up to this fall’s presidential election will take place on Thursday, June 27 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
Where can you watch the first presidential debate of 2024?
The debate will be broadcast live on CNN, CNN International, and CNN en Español. CBS News and C-SPAN will simulcast the debate and also provide coverage leading up to the event. NewsNation will broadcast “Debate Night with Chris Cuomo” at 8pm ET and 7pm CST, with a simulcast starting at 9pm ET. NBC News and MSNBC will also broadcast the event.
ABC News, OAN, Newsmax, Newsmax 2, Noticias Telemundo, PBS and Scripps News round out the networks broadcasting the debate. Spectrum News will broadcast the CNN presidential debate on June 27 starting at 9pm ET and will provide special follow-up coverage at approximately 10:37pm ET.
CBS’ Norah O’Donnell will host at 8 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network. Gayle King, Margaret Brennan, John Dickerson, Major Garrett and Ed O’Keefe will join them in studio in New York City. Robert Costa, Nancy Cordes and Caitlin Huey Barnes will report from their Atlanta base. Weija Jiang, Joel Payne and Terry Sullivan will also provide analysis and reaction.
The C-SPAN simulcast will be available on C-SPAN2 and C-SPAN Radio. The special will be available on all major FOX News media platforms including FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio and FOX Nation.
On NewsNation, Chris Cuomo and anchors Dan Abrams, Elizabeth Vargas and Leland Vittert will report from the event. Chris Stierwaldt, Geraldo Rivera, Bill O’Reilly, Adam Carolla, Anthony Scaramucci, Governor Chris Sununu, Mehdi Hasan and Nina Turner will also participate in the post-broadcast debate.
Will the first presidential debate be streamed in 2024?
Streaming options for the event include CNN Max and CNN.com, as well as CBS News News 24/7. Additional options are available on C-SPAN.org and the C-SPAN Now app. The debate will also air on Noticias Telemundo, MSNBC on Peacock and MSNBC.com.
