On November 10, a live online event including thirteen former Grammy Award winners, from Amy Grant to Kim Petras, will assist in revealing the 66th Annual Grammy Award nominees. You may watch the announcement on YouTube and live.Grammy.com.
Arooj Aftab, Vince Gill, Jimmy Jam, Jon Bon Jovi, Samara Joy, Muni Long, Cheryl Pawelski, Judith Sherman, St. Vincent, Jeff Tweedy, and “Weird Al” Yankovic are among the other Grammy winners attending the event. Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, and CBS Mornings co-hosts Gayle King, Nate Burleson, and Tony Dokoupil will join them.
Last year’s surprise winner of best new artist was Joy. The 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year winner will be Jon Bon Jovi.
A unique presentation introducing the nominees in the general field and a few more categories will open the nominations ceremony. This year, there will be two modifications to the general field categories. The album, record, and song of the year categories, along with best new artist, have always formed the general field. This year, there will only be eight nominees, down from ten the previous two years. Additionally, the non-classical categories for songwriter of the year and producer of the year are being raised to the general field for the first time.
During the event, video greetings of the nominees in the remaining categories will also be posted on YouTube and live.Grammy.com. Following the presentation, Grammy.com will instantly post the complete list of nominees.
This is the schedule for these activities on November 10. All times are EST and could change at any time.
