Indian 2 Trailer Release Date & Time Officially Announced

The grand release of Kamal Haasan’s much-awaited film Indian 2 is just around half a month away. As the film is a sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian, fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer of the upcoming story. Recently, the makers announced that the trailer of Indian 2 will be released soon.

With the tagline “Zero Tolerance”, Indian 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 12, 2024. Directed by S. Shankar, the film is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. Indian 2 sees Kamal Haasan reprising his iconic role as Senapathy, with Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh supporting in key roles. Other notable actors include Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu and Vivek.

While specific plot details are yet to be revealed, Indian 2 is expected to continue the story of Senapathy’s tireless fight against corruption. He returns to India from Hong Kong to support a young man committed to exposing corrupt politicians.

When will Indian 2 trailer be released?

The makers are actively promoting the project through various activities ahead of its theatrical release. Recently, the makers announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the trailer for Indian 2 will be released on June 25, 2024 at 7 PM IST.

A Twitter user also shared that Kamal Haasan and director Shankar will be promoting the Hindi version of Indian 2 in Andheri on June 26. The makers are also planning a pre-release event for the Telugu version in Hyderabad on July 7.

At the same time, Haasan is gearing up for the release of Kalki 2898 AD on June 27. The fact that the makers will reportedly be attaching the trailer of Indian 2 to Kalki 2898 AD adds to the excitement.
