The eagerly awaited return of the J-pop idols to American stages will take place on July 25 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and July 27 at The Grove in Anaheim, California. Competitors from World of Dance 2025 will open both performances.

Not only that, but Travis Japan is giving fans a wonderful surprise! Capitol Records/Universal Music Japan will release the group’s incredibly catchy new single, “Would You Like One?” on April 28. The song is the official theme song for the whimsical animated adventure Tabekko Doubutsu: THE MOVIE (internationally titled “Dream Animals: THE MOVIE”), which is based on the well-known animal-shaped children’s crackers. In this snackable film comedy, which premieres on May 1, member Genta showcases his voice acting skills as the voice of Lion.

The announcement comes after Travis Japan’s historic March 2025 dual physical single release of “Say I do” and “Tokyo Crazy Night.” “Say I do” became their first chart-topper, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100! With 147,896 copies sold in its first week, the twin single dominated downloads and sales, solidifying the group’s position as the hottest act in J-pop.

ABOUT TRAVIS JAPAN

Travis Japan is a dynamic seven-member dance and pop group from Tokyo that creates amazing shows by fusing hip-hop, jazz, and modern music. The group was founded in 2012 under the direction of renowned choreographer Travis Payne, who has worked with Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson. Since then, it has gained widespread praise in Japan and beyond. In 2020, they sold out three consecutive shows at Yokohama Arena, which has a capacity of 17,000, and they headlined their annual Japanesque spectacle TORA JA-NINJAPAN. In 2021, they will go on a 12-city across the country tour.

After competing on America’s Got Talent and World of Dance, their catchy pop music and precise dance moves gained international recognition, and they signed with Capitol Records/UMG in 2022. With over 10 million views, their first single, “JUST DANCE!” became the first by a Japanese artist to reach the Top 5 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart.

Their 2023 first album, Road To A, demonstrated their artistic identity and symbolized their search for honesty. “T.G.I. Friday Night” and “Sweetest Tune,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Download Songs chart and No. 2 on the HOT 100, respectively, dominated Billboard Japan’s charts by 2024. They solidified their global appeal that year by starting a sold-out six-city world tour and their ‘Road to Authenticity’ statewide stadium tour.

They released their sophomore album VIIsual in December 2024, which included the daring new single “B.O.$.$.Y.” along with their 2024 chart-topper songs. The release concluded a historic year and demonstrated Travis Japan’s unrelenting momentum as they redefine globally pop through exciting live performances and innovative genre-bending.
