Joe Manganiello is set as a lead opposite Emma McDonald and Dominic Monaghan in AMC’s utopian drama series Moonhaven.
Made, written and executive produced by Peter Ocko, Moonhaven is about an utopian colony on the moon that may hold the keys to protecting life on Earth, which has gotten progressively hazardous. The series, produced by AMC Studios, is set to make a big appearance on AMC and AMC+ one year from now.
The suspense thriller focuses on Bella Sway (McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler 100 years later who ends up blamed for a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, an utopian community set on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden based on the moon to discover solutions for the issues that will before long end human progress on Mother Earth. A doubter in Paradise, Bella is sucked into an conspiracy to gain control of the artificial intelligence responsible for Moonhaven’s miracles and groups with a local detective, Paul Serno (Monaghan), to stop the powers that need to destroy Earth’s last hope before they are destroyed themselves.
Manganiello will play Tomm Schultz. An ex-military with a philosophical twisted, Tomm is the right hand of the lead Earth diplomat to the moon, who discovers his ambitions changed when he’s injected with a mind-altering moon drug.
Notwithstanding McDonald and Monaghan, Manganiello joins recently cast Kadeem Hardison as Arlo Noon, Amara Karan as Indira Mare, and Ayelet Zurer as Maite Voss.
Manganiello was most as of late found in the indie features Shoplifters of the World and Archenemy (as of now playing on AMC+), both delivered by his organization 3:59, just as Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He as of late reteamed with Zack Snyder and stars in his impending Netflix series, Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas. Manganiello is repped by ICM and Myman Greenspan.
