An employee of Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett took home the $1 million prize from the famous businessman’s March Madness bracket challenge.
An employee of the FlightSafety International subsidiary won the renowned investor’s 2025 bracket contest, according to a news release, after correctly selecting the winners of 31 out of 32 first-round games in the men’s NCAA Tournament that were played last week.
According to a Berkshire Hathaway of Warren Buffett worker news release, “the contest winner and eleven other Berkshire subsidiary employee entrants correctly picked the winners of 31 of the 32 games.”
The tournament’s opening saw the unidentified winner accurately choose the first 29 games before picking the wrong team to win game 30 between Xavier and Illinois.
The first-round matchup was won by Illinois on March 21 86-73.
