Do you feel lucky? Next week, McDonald’s will have the Shamrock Shake back, the fast food restaurant chain revealed on Thursday.
McDonald’s said that the mint drink with a St. Patrick’s Day motif will officially debut in shops on February 5.
This year, McDonald’s appears to be getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day a little early: its famous Shamrock Shake made its restaurant debut on February 20 of last year.
This classic shake is made with vanilla soft serve mixed with mint syrup and topped with whipped cream.
“Make your friends green with envy and snag one of these famously minty treats while supplies last,” the announcement from McDonald’s reads.
The launch of the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, which has crumbled Oreos all over it, was also featured in the announcement.
Nationwide, participating eateries will offer both shakes.
The green drink will be available in stores more than a month before St. Patrick’s Day, which falls on March 17, due to its early arrival.
After planning the shift in 2020, the Golden Arches also just unveiled new, hotter, juicier versions of their Double Cheeseburger and Big Mac for 2024.
The Double Big Mac will be available in stores on January 25th, as the burger chain had stated earlier this year. With four 100% all-beef patties, the new menu item “is double the fun with four 100% all-beef patties. It’s topped with pickles, crisp shredded lettuce, finely chopped onions, our iconic Big Mac sauce, and a slice of American cheese, all sandwiched between a fluffy sesame seed bun, per a McDonald’s announcement.
