All eyes are on San Antonio as the NCAA men’s March Madness Final Four approach.
The Final Four includes only the No. 1 seeds for the second time since the tournament’s expansion to 64 (and later 68) teams.
After upsetting No. 2 seed Michigan State 70-64, Auburn managed to escape a crowded South Region; but, star forward Johni Broome might be out due to injuries as the Tigers play SEC rival Florida in a semifinal.
According to the Gators, they had to outscore No. 3 seed Texas Tech 84-79 in the last three minutes in order to win the West.
Under coach Jon Scheyer, Duke advanced to the Final Four for the first time after defeating Alabama, the second seed, in the East final.
Houston defeated No. 2 seed Tennessee 69-50 to win the Midwest Region, and the Blue Devils will face them.
