NCAA DII Men’s Basketball Championship 2025: Full Bracket, Dates and How to Watch March Madness

Officially, the 2025 NCAA DII Men’s Basketball Championship has begun! On Sunday, March 9 at 11 p.m. ET, the Selection Show kicked off the tournament and was broadcast live on NCAA.com.

The 64-team field for this year’s tournament includes 23 automatic qualifiers. Teams compete in regional matches to determine who will advance to the Elite Eight. The top eight teams will move on to the Men’s Elite Eight, which will take place from March 25–29 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

The Minnesota State Mavericks are the defending champions, having defeated Nova Southeastern in the previous year’s championship game to win the 2024 NCAA Division II title.
