The official bracket for the 2024 NCAA Division I Hockey Championships is unveiled on March 24, and the first regional games take place four days later.

How Does The Hockey NCAA Tournament Work?

The Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Committee will choose the top 10 teams at-large from among the 16 teams, with the six conference winners receiving automatic qualification. Four teams in all will be seeded, and each seeded team will be assigned to a single regional place.
