New Audi models coming in 2024
This year, Audi plans to introduce a number of new electric cars, including the much awaited Q6 and A6 e-tron models. A few new cars with petrol engines will also be released, and the naming convention for the brand will change.
New Audi S3 and A3 models
Early in the year, the Audi A3 is receiving a mid-life update, which includes new technologies and revised appearance for both the base model and the sporty S3. Later in 2024, the full-fat RS3 will also receive a makeover.
A few weeks ago, the S3 version of the BMW 1 Series substitute was hinted at, and you can now see elements of the updated styling, including a redesigned grille and new tail lights. The S3’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine now produces 333 horsepower instead of just 310.
New Audi Q6 e-tron
It’s been a few years since the Audi Q6 e-tron was confirmed, with the production car set to arrive this spring. It is equipped with the same components as the Audi A6 e-tron concept and also uses some of that car’s design features.
This means it uses a 100kWh battery and has a range of about 400 miles. The interior of this new electric SUV has also been revealed, touting an all-new infotainment setup with an augmented reality head-up display.
New Audi A6 e-tron
Shortly after the SUV Q6 e-tron, Audi lifts the cover on the new A6 e-tron sedan. This Audi EQE replacement was first unveiled as a concept a few years ago, but spy shots of the production car taken by Carwow show that the design appears to be largely unchanged.
Like the Q6 e-tron, this new sedan uses a 100 kWh battery and has a range of 436 miles. The interior has not been revealed yet, but we can expect a similar design and infotainment system to the SUV.
New Audi e-tron GT
In addition to the completely new electric car, Audi is also refreshing the sporty e-tron GT this year. Already a great looking car, there are just a few minor design changes made to modernize the design a bit.
The e-tron GT shares parts with Porsche’s Taycan, so the updated version could achieve performance improvements similar to the recently facelifted Taycan. We can also expect suspension improvements.
New Audi A5
Audi is refreshing its models this year with a new naming structure. Electric cars now have even numbers, while combustion engine models have odd numbers. Therefore, the current A4 sedan and station wagon will be called the A5 in the future.
This new model, which replaces the BMW 3 Series, has been spotted being tested several times, and the design updates seem to suit cars like the new A6 e-tron. You can also expect a variety of gasoline and plug-in hybrid engines.
New Audi Q5
Rumor has it that the last big launch of 2024 will be the new Audi Q5, with a BMW X5 replacement arriving at the end of the year. Today’s Q5 has been on the market for a while, so this new car has been completely redesigned.
The engine range is probably going to be mostly the same, and the interior design should be comparable to that of the Q6 e-tron SUV. This would entail a selection of diesel and gasoline engines, along with the potential introduction of a plug-in hybrid.
New Audi models coming in 2025
Looking ahead to next year, this year looks like it will be an important year for Audi’s RS division. The new RS5 is expected to debut as well as a hot version of the A6 e-tron.
New Audi RS5
After the market launch of the new Audi A5, the full-fat RS5 will be launched in 2025. Carwow’s spy photographers captured this racy station wagon during development testing on the road. It looks much more aggressive than the standard car.
The V6 engine is likely to be retained, but the introduction of plug-in hybrid technology is almost inevitable. A similar system is expected in the new Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid, which could produce up to 520 horsepower.
New Audi RS7
The next Audi RS7, formerly known as the RS6, will arrive after the RS5. You can’t yet tell what it will look like because it has only been seen tested in the body shell of the present A6. The car of today will probably see a slight change in terms of style.
Under the hood is a V8 engine, paired with an electric motor for increased power and efficiency. The plug-in hybrid system may be installed starting with the new Porsche Panamera Turbo E Hybrid, which produces 680 horsepower.
New Audi RS6 Avant e-tron
The adoption of electric vehicles in Audi’s lineup doesn’t mean the death of the fast RS car, but it could mean the end of the non-hybrid 2.9-liter V6 and 4.0-liter there is. Means V8 model.
The new Audi RS6 Avant e-tron is likely to be the first of these powerful electric vehicles, and these exclusive renderings give us a glimpse of what it will be like. can. Expect a more aggressive bumper and lower ride height than the A6 Avant e-tron.
It could deliver around 800 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, but don’t expect this car to be announced until 2025.
New Audi models to be released after 2025
Audi has unveiled several concept cars that give a glimpse of the technology that will be installed in models from 2025 onwards. This includes innovative new infotainment technology and autonomous driving systems.
New Audi Grand Sphere – A8 replacement
The Audi Grand Sphere concept gives us an idea of what the next Audi A8 will be like. It has a sleek shape that looks more like a coupe than the current car, and is packed with clever technology.
This luxury sedan produces up to 720 horsepower, has a range of up to 470 miles, and is equipped with a Level 4 autonomous driving system. This means it can drive itself under human supervision in most (but not all) situations.
This technology is unlikely to be available for another few years, but when this new sedan goes on sale after his 2025 year, it will be equipped with some of the most advanced driver assistance technology ever. You can expect that.
New Audi Sky Sphere
The Audi Skys Sphere concept is introduced for his 2021 year, and this ultra-futuristic roadster offers some very clever features. First, the wheelbase has been lengthened to improve stability at high speeds, and it is equipped with the same self-driving technology as the Grand Sphere.
Don’t take out your wallet yet. This new folding roof probably won’t go into production, at least not in its current state.
New Audi Active Sphere
The Audi Active Sphere is the latest model in the Sphere concept series, a jacked-up he coupe designed for off-road use. It looks a bit like the Audi RS7, but its size are similar to the Audi Q8.
When the back window is folded up over the top, it can be transformed into a pickup bed with room for electric bikes and a foldable ski rack.
According to Audi, the Active Sphere’s 100kWh battery will allow it to travel “well over” 372 miles. It can travel from 0 to 60mph in 4.9 seconds thanks to its two motors’ 442 hp and 720 Nm of torque.
