Nishit Bhasin: Leading the Accessibility Revolution with Incskill

Nishit Bhasin, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Incskill, has been named to Forbes 30 Under 30 North America 2025, recognized for his groundbreaking work in the field of digital accessibility. His journey, marked by innovation and impact, highlights a mission to make the internet a more inclusive space for people with disabilities.

From Filmmaker to Tech Visionary

Bhasin’s transition from a filmmaker to a tech entrepreneur reflects a deeply personal and transformative story. Inspired by his co-founder, Kartik Sawhney, who is blind, Nishit saw firsthand the challenges posed by digital inaccessibility. Simple tasks—such as applying for jobs or browsing online—remain frustratingly out of reach for millions of people due to inaccessible websites and applications.

As a response, Nishit and his co-founders, Sawhney and Lakshay Garg, launched Incskill, a company dedicated to solving these challenges. With its roots in their earlier venture, I-Stem, Incskill has rapidly become a leader in creating tools that enable companies to design accessible digital experiences.

Bridging the Accessibility Gap

Today, over 96% of websites are not accessible to people with disabilities, and the impact of this exclusion is staggering—leading to twice the unemployment rate among the disabled population and costing the U.S. economy $1.9 billion annually. Nishit’s leadership at Incskill tackles this head-on.

“Our tools are like Grammarly, but for accessibility,” explains Nishit. Incskill’s innovative testing engine scans websites and documents for accessibility violations, offering both automatic fixes and actionable guidance tailored to developers. By doing so, Incskill empowers businesses to embrace inclusion while tapping into the $13 trillion global spending power of the disability community.

Global Partnerships and Impact

Since its inception in 2022, Incskill has partnered with high-profile organizations like Google, UNICEF, and the Government of India, as well as prominent corporations such as Morgan Stanley. The company’s impact extends across ed-tech startups, government bodies, and NGOs, making strides in an accessibility market that’s now valued at over $1 billion.

Under Nishit’s guidance, Incskill has generated $300,000 in revenue in the past year, with significant growth in recent months. The company’s achievements reflect not only its technical expertise but also its founders’ lived experiences, which bring an authentic understanding of accessibility issues.

Recognized for Innovation

Nishit’s inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30 validates his work in transforming the digital landscape for the better. “This recognition is not just about me but about the billion people globally who face barriers every day,” says Nishit. “At Incskill, we’re working toward a future where digital accessibility is the norm, not the exception.”

With a mission to achieve 100% accessibility, Incskill is poised to lead the charge in making the internet a truly inclusive space for all.
