Post Malone Announces August Release Date for New Album ‘F-1 Trillion’

American singer and rapper Post Malone’s sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion, will be released on August 16, it was announced on Tuesday.

Malone shared an image of a Nashville billboard featuring the album’s title and a car logo. He wrote: “What’s up with this motherfucker…F-1 Trillion, August 16th. The digital billboard location is a hint of what to expect from the LP’s content, and also a continuation of Malone’s recent success in country music.

Malone has been atop the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks with his duet with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help.” The country-pop track is Malone’s second number one single this year, after he hit number one in April. It features Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight,” Swift’s most successful single from her Billboard 200 topping song “The Tortured Poets Department.” He was also featured on Beyoncé’s country record “Cowboy Carter” on a duet titled “Levii’s Jeans.”

Malone recently performed the album’s second single, “Pour Me a Drink,” with Blake Shelton at the Spotify House at CMA Fest. Wallen and Malone also sang together onstage when Wallen headlined Stagecoach Festival in April. Malone made his illustrious Stagecoach debut with a selection of country covers, featuring guests ranging from Dwight Yoakam to Brad Paisley.

Variety reported that Malone covered George Strait’s “Check Yes or No,” Tim McGraw’s “Don’t Take the Girl,” Paisley’s “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” and Toby Keith’s “Who’s Your Daddy.” Of his performance, Variety wrote: “But his emphasis on the 1990s/2000s hits of his childhood and youth (plus Tyler Childers, for good modern measure) would have captivated the crowd even without Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley and Sara Evans showing up to seal the deal.”
