Let’s face it: You probably wanted to know more about Sackboy: A Big Adventure when it came out for the PlayStation 5, but not enough to make you want to buy it over Miles Morales or Demon’s Souls. Thankfully, you no longer need to shell out more money to satisfy your curiosity. All PlayStation Plus members can get the LittleBigPlanet spinoff, which is also available on PlayStation 4, for free between April 4 and May 1.
Sackboy stands out from the main franchise in many ways. This game is a 3D platformer that revolves around the acrobatics of its namesake hero, whereas Little Big Planet is a 3D-enhanced side-scroller that focuses more on interaction with the environment and creativity. However, they all share a co-op mechanic that is not very common. Stages can be tackled by up to four players at once, and progress through some sections necessitates teamwork. Playing this game with your kids may be ideal.
If you don’t like Sackboy, you have other options. Meet Your Maker, a new build-and-raid game, and Tails of Iron, a hand-drawn role-playing game, are also free to play on PS Plus in April. For PS4 and PS5, both freebies are available.
You won’t regret signing up for PS Plus Extra or Premium with these new offerings. If you pay for those tiers, you’ve recently gotten popular games like Uncharted: Tchia and the Legacy of Thieves Collection Still, knowing that you can easily add one more big-name title to your library is nice.
