Santiago 2023 Athletics: How to Watch Live, Schedule and Preview at 19th Pan American Games

At the Pan American Games in Santiago in 2023, track and field athletes will compete for 48 sets of medals; two sets have already been awarded in the men’s and women’s marathons. The remaining 46 track, field and road athletics finals will take place from 29 October to 4 November, with the two hammer throw finals appearing especially strong due to the presence of both current and former world champions. Many of the top track and field athletes from the United States, Jamaica, and other nations have chosen to focus on the demanding 2024 season and the Olympic Games that will take place in the summer of 2023, as the 2023 Pan Ams coincide with the conclusion of the world athletics season. Only modest athletic teams from the two major schools have travelled to Santiago, which will allow a lot of fresh talent from the American continents to shine.
