Taco Bell is offering freebies and Stanley Cups to celebrate Baja Blast’s 20th anniversary

Twenty years after introducing the fan-favorite drink, Taco Bell is celebrating Baja Blast with giveaways and new turquoise treats to delight your taste buds.

Mountain Dew Baja Blast was created exclusively for Taco Bell and has been a tropical lime-flavored soft drink addition to many customers’ orders since its debut in 2004.

“We’re extremely proud of the synonymous, iconic duo Taco Bell and BAJA BLAST have become,” Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell, Taylor Montgomery, said in a statement. “We’re celebrating this incredible milestone just as much as our die-hard Baja fans and can’t wait to share even more epic experiences, innovations and rewards.”

Taco Bell customers’ enthusiasm for Baja Blast has not gone unnoticed, with Mountain Dew announcing plans to add more Baja Blast options to Taco Bell menus this year.

“We’re constantly inspired by our fans and feed off their energy, which drives our urge to deliver breakthrough innovations and exclusive offerings to thank those who have supported us – whether it’s our diehard fans from day one to new consumers who continue to join our fandom each and every day,” JP Bittencourt, Mountain Dew’s vice president of marketing, said in a statement.

Taco Bell and Mountain Dew release new Baja Blast offers

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Baja Blast, or “Bajaversary,” the fast-food restaurant chain is offering the following offers:

Free Baja Blast Drink: Baja Blast fans can celebrate the Bajaversary by drinking a free frozen teal drink, with or without ice, on July 29. Customers can order a medium Baja Blast Stock drink or a regular Baja Blast Freeze at their local Taco Bell or through the Taco Bell app.

Stanley X Bajaversary Tumbler: If you want a Stanley mug and love Baja Blast, this free gift is the perfect choice. On August 13th at 2pm PST, rewards members will have the chance to win a limited edition Stanley x Bajaversary Tuesday Drop Cup in the Taco Bell app. The first 20 customers who redeem one of the cups on drop day will get to enjoy Baja Blast for free for one year.

Baja Blast Gelato: After a limited release in 2023, Baja Blast Gelato will be rolling out to Taco Bell Rewards members nationwide for a limited time starting September 3. The creamy and delicious gelato will be available to Taco Bell Rewards members in the Taco Bell app.

$1 Happy Hour: Baja Blast lovers can sip their favorite drink for just $1. Customers can order a medium Baja Blast fountain drink or a regular-sized Baja Blast Freeze from 2pm to 5pm local time.

Additionally, Taco Bell announced that it plans to release the Baja Blast Pie later this year.
