The epic Eras Tour by Taylor Swift might surpass the $2 billion (USD) milestone in just North America.
Eras is expected to earn roughly $2.2 billion from the recently concluded American leg and the North American leg scheduled at the end of next year, according to a report.
According to research company, the sum was estimated using the average ticket price (pre-sale or initial sale, not resale) of $455.78, multiplied by the 68 performances Swift will give across North America, and the average attendance of 72,459 people.
Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which brought in over $887 million throughout its run from 2018 to 2023, would be greatly surpassed by the $2.2 billion figure.
Every city that Eras has so far visited has seen an improvement in its economy, particularly in the hotel and transportation sectors.
The average amount spent on show-related clothes was $291.62, show-related merchandise was $214.80, and show-related food and beverages were $131.48, according to a survey that included 862 fans who had been to at least one Eras event.
