‘The Masked Singer’ disclosed the identity of Spaghetti & Meatballs as celebrity chef

This week’s episode of The Masked Singer was about the Piano Man.

Yes, Wednesday’s theme was Billy Joel Night. Although the legendary crooner didn’t perform, his music was very much there – the night started with a performance of Robin Thicke’s “My Life” and everyone in attendance was doing their thing Joel performed one of his other hits, and it was also woven into the clue package and clue moments on stage that night.

About the participants: Once again, viewers were treated to a new group of masked celebrities. The final group of the season, Group C, consisted of Poodle Moth, Clock, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and Lizard.

From then on, everything went somewhat smoothly, at least in comparison to how wild season 11 started. Fox should really make a few products for the adorable Poodle Moth (hint hint), who opened with “Just the Way You Are,” was followed by Clock’s rendition of “Piano Man,” Spaghetti & Meatballs’ charming version of “Only the Good Die Young,” and Lizard’s performance of “Uptown Girl.”-

All in all, Spaghetti & Meatballs and Lizard advanced to the season’s second smackdown, where they engaged in a duel to Joel’s “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song).”

Despite their intense battle, Spaghetti & Meatballs was back to the kitchen. It’s interesting to note that during Lizard’s segment of the smackdown, every panelist pretended to recognize Lizard and made fun of her for being “iconic.” I guess we’ll have to find out if they’re right.

Just as usual, the judges had to make their last predicts before Spaghetti & Meatballs could emerge from that enormous pasta mustache of a head. Among them were Bobby Flay (Ken Jeong’s), Guy Fieri (Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg’s), Gordon Ramsay (Rita Ora’s), and Stanley Tucci (Thicke).

Ultimately, the contest was close but not quite finished; Joe Bastianich, a renowned restaurant and MasterChef star, was revealed when the Spaghetti & Meatballs disguise was removed. For those keeping score at home, this indicates that as of right now, the panel hasn’t correctly predicted anyone (Kevin Hart doesn’t count because he revealed his identity and no official guesses were made), so the Masked Singer gang’s season 11 is off to a terrible start.
