Skoda has unveiled the much anticipated Style Edition of its Slavia sedan, which retails for Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom).
The top-spec Style trim costs Rs 30,000 less than this special edition, which is available in Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red color options. This edition, which is limited to 500 units, is similar to previous special edition such as the Matte edition, Elegance edition, and Lava Blue edition.
What’s new in the Škoda Slavia Style Edition?
The ŠKODA Slavia Style Edition comes with some cool new features. Inspired by the Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition, it features dual dashboard cameras for added security. Additionally, it is also equipped with a puddle lamp for added convenience.
Visually, the Style Edition has darkened door mirrors, B-pillars and roof, giving it a unique feel. You’ll also notice elegant ‘Edition’ badges on the B-pillar and steering wheel, as well as ‘Style’ logos on the door sills. The
Style Edition carries over some features from the Style trim, including a sunroof, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, and a 10-inch infotainment unit.
Under the hood, the Style Edition has a single powertrain option. A robust 1.5-litre TSI with 150 PS and 250 Nm, mated to a responsive 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. This combination allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.96 seconds.
Skoda Slavia Style Edition faces stiff competition from other mid-sized sedans such as Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Maruti Ciaz. With its combination of style, performance and features, it aims to carve a niche in this competitive segment.
