Tommy Hilfiger is joining the F1 Academy as an official partner

The international fashion label Tommy Hilfiger has announced today that it would join F1 ACADEMY as an Official Partner. The company will create one of the five official partner liveries for the 2024 season as part of the historic collaboration.

Tommy Hilfiger will be represented by Spanish driver Nerea Marti, who is back for her second season in the F1 ACADEMY with Campos Racing. She will be racing in a car and outfit that sport the brand’s iconic red, white, and blue color pattern.

When Marti won in Le Castellet, she became the eighth different race winner for the F1 ACADEMY, finishing fourth in the 2023 Drivers’ Standings. During the first season, Marti obtained five podium finishes and one pole position.

Tommy Hilfiger has been a global leader in high-end fashion since its 1985 debut, and it has a rich history of partnerships in the fashion, music, sports, and art industries. Being an Official Partner of F1 ACADEMY, the two companies will work together to increase the series’ visibility and draw in new and varied motorsport fans.

As part of the deal, Tommy Hilfiger will also design and supply uniforms for all F1 ACADEMY employees.

Susie Wolff, MBE, F1 ACADEMY Managing Director, said: “Tommy Hilfiger is one of the most recognised global lifestyle brands, so it is a great honour to welcome them to F1 Academy as an Official Partner.

“Tommy Hilfiger is fully invested in our mission to improve female representation in motorsport, and their global brand platform will appeal to those outside of the motorsport world and help us to reach new audiences. I would like to personally thank Tommy and his team for sharing our vision and supporting a talented young driver in Nerea Martí.”

“The F1 Academy is at the forefront of this movement, and the racing world is developing at an incredible pace,” stated Tommy Hilfiger.

“As they break barriers in a traditionally male-dominated sport, I look forward to working with Managing Director Susie Wolff, leading driver Nerea Martí, and the entire F1 ACADEMY team.”
