Top 5 Looks Of MTV VMAs 2023 Stars

On Tuesday, September 12, the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards saw the biggest personalities in music and fashion putting their best foot forward.

Cardi B, Selena Gomez, Megan Thee Stallion, Taylor Swift, and Sofia Carson were named by Us Weekly as the year’s finest dressed celebrities after revelling in the many eye-catching outfits on the pink carpet at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.

1) Cardi B.

Cardi wore a Dilara Findikoglu gown that belonged in a museum. Thousands of hair clips were used to hide the silver floor-length dress, which had a bulging design at the 30-year-old rapper’s waist. She accessorised with matching bracelets and chrome nail polish, giving us even more drama. She opted for understated glam that featured a glossy lined lip and warm eyeshadow, letting her clothing make the impression. She wore her hair loosely down her shoulders and in a bone straight manner.

2) Selena Gomez

Gomez, 31, turned up the heat in an Oscar de La Renta creation. According to the fashion house, the red slit dress had a “floral tendril skirt,” “hand-beaded” detailing throughout, and a halter structure. The stunning outfit clung to Gomez’s physique, making her look elegant and snatched. She accessorised the dress with butterfly jewellery, crimson sandal heels, and a clutch. She wore matte pink lips and rosy cheeks for glam.

3) Megan Thee Stallion 

When the rapper, 28, hit the pink carpet wearing a sheer corset dress by Brandon Blackwood, she demonstrated that “naked” clothes are here to stay. The see-through outfit was tasteful, yet advanced, and its waist-cinching shape gave it an Old Hollywood vibe. She had her hair pulled back and added sparkle with a glitter choker. She added eye-catching glitter to her ensemble, including a beautiful cat eye.

4) Taylor Swift

Us is convinced by Swift, 33, that Reputation might be the next album she’s re-recording after seeing her attend the awards ceremony in an edgy Versace dress, a style strongly related to the 2017 release. The daring thigh-high slit and gold hardware were prominent features of the asymmetrical gown. She wore thick makeup and piled metallic necklaces as accessories.

5) Sofia Carson

Carson, 30, took a fashion chance with a blue Alexandre Vauthier suit that paid off. The outfit included longer sleeves, a floor-length skirt, projecting shoulder pads, and flared sleeves. Carson even ventured to finish the look with a pair of pointed-toe boots that matched.
