All eyes will now be on the first gameday of the regular season after selecting your NBA Fantasy players.
The coaches make their decisions regarding position battles on the first day of the regular season after the preseason is over. We look at a few players who might improve your chances of succeeding in your league.
You already have expectations for how your draft will turn out at this stage, but some of your players aren’t playing up to typical and will turn to free agency to meet those expectations.
NBA Fantasy players who you should keep an eye on in the first week
Owners of NBA Fantasy teams are keeping an eye out for sleepers and surprise performers during the first week of the regular season.
We strive to focus on your particular demands out of the many players who may help you. Here are five NBA Fantasy players who might still be undrafted in your league:
Santi Aldama
The Memphis Grizzlies will be a different team on opening day as a result of Steven Adams’ injury.
Santi Aldama is starting to get picked up by NBA Fantasy owners off the waiver wires, and he might still be available in your league.
When Jaren Jackson Jr. or Steven Adams are taking a break or recovering from an injury, he has consistently filled in for them. Alama should see more playing time now that Adams is out for the year.
Grayson Allen
The Phoenix Suns might start Kevin Durant, Jusuf Nurkic, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal on the first day of the season.
Josh Okogie has been the Suns’ consistent starter, but if the team needs extra spacing, Grayson Allen might be a player to consider.
His ability to make three-pointers should be a benefit, and he may be selected for the starting lineup or receive significant bench time.
Alex Caruso
Coby White will start at point guard for the Chicago Bulls, according to depth charts.
Although he has been the team’s energy off the bench, Alex Caruso is worth watching. Coby White may make a few starts, but it’s incredibly difficult to believe he can hold onto the starting PG position.
When you have long minutes, Caruso provides assists, steals, and three-pointers.
Taylor Hendricks
Taylor Hendricks has the best chance of any rookie not selected in the first five rounds to make the Utah Jazz’s starting lineup.
He is expected to be a player who can spread the floor, and pairing him alongside Lauri Markannen might provide the Jazz 3-point threats in either corner of the court.
Zach Collins
Because of how Victor Wembanyama performed all through the NBA preseason, the San Antonio Spurs decided to pair him with Zach Collins, a natural centre.
He was a forgotten player, and some leagues still have him on their waiver wires. Collins ought to be the one who offers the rebounding and extra ring security once with Wemby.
