The Victoria’s Secret show is returning after a four-year break. Victoria’s Secret: The Tour ’23, which debuts on Monday on Amazon’s Prime Video, is described as “part documentary, part fashion fantasy” and will include behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Doja Cat, Hailey Bieber, Winnie Harlow, Julia Fox, Lila Moss, Adwoa Aboah, Valentina Sampaio, and others.
The “reimagined” 95-minute Amazon original special will feature the VS20, a group of 20 female creatives “on their journey to make the iconic VS platform their own,” featuring fashion designers, artists, dancers, choreographers, writers, and filmmakers from Bogotá, Lagos, London, and Tokyo. (Victoria’s Secret has a list of all VS20 creatives.) Along with the iconic Victoria’s Secret designs in new designs, Amazon will release four curated collections timed to the premiere and inspired by the cities of each designer.
Four designers will present their unique looks during the Tour ’23: Melissa Valdés Duque of Colombia, Jenny Fax of Japan, Supriya Lele of London, and Bubu Ogisi of Nigeria.
The new special will help the Tour Impact Fund of parent firm VS&Co, which will work with groups that encourage gender equality and promote overlooked and marginalised voices in the VS20 communities. Priyanka Chopra-Jonas will represent the fund as an ambassador, mentor, and supporter, helping to open doors for upcoming female artists and give them with the tools they need for empowerment and economic progress.
