Hot on the heels of its Walmart+ Week Sale, Walmart has already announced an even bigger sale. Simply called the Walmart Deals Event, it’s set to be the company’s “largest savings event ever,” aimed at offering the best deals from the region’s biggest retailers.
This new Walmart Deals sale will be the first of its kind from the retailer, and it’s set to go live starting July 8. It’s a nod to the Independence Day discounts that took place over the previous holiday weekend, but it’s intended to be more than just an extension of those discounts.
Walmart plans to offer discounts on all of its most popular products. Nearly everything it sells will be marked down, including electronics, household goods, toys and travel essentials. There will also be a special selection of back-to-school offers.
When does the Walmart Deals event take place?
The new Walmart Deals sale will begin the second week of July. It will officially begin on Monday, July 8th at 12pm EST. The promotion will run for four days and end on Thursday, July 11th at 11:59pm EST.

Today’s news from Walmart comes just before Amazon announces its rival Prime Day 2024. The upcoming Walmart Deals Sale will set the tone for the best discounts of the season, ahead of the competition. And unlike Prime Day, this Walmart sales event is open to all shoppers, not just paid subscribers.
There’s a small catch, though: Walmart+ members get early access to all sale items. Anyone with a subscription can start shopping the sale five hours early. They already mentioned that the sale will start at noon, but the public won’t have access until 5pm ET.
