Wendy’s is giving both basketball and burger fans the red carpet as the Official Hamburger of March Madness.

The fast-food chain said in a statement issued on Monday, March 17, that it will be offering its Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and Double Stack Cheeseburgers for $1 from now until Sunday, April 13. This offer is only available through the Wendy’s app and requires a further purchase.

The traditional flavors and tastes of both sandwiches complement the tournament perfectly. The Wendy’s Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is served with a distinctive square beef patty, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and crispy Applewood smoked bacon. Another great choice is the Double Stack, which consists of two fresh beef patties topped with pickles, mustard, ketchup, American cheese, and onion.

Ian Eagle, the lead play-by-play commentator for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, stated, “We’re expecting to see some of the freshest talent in the game give their all for a shot at a National Championship this year.” “But if you want my call, Wendy’s is the freshest hamburger in the game – their burgers are made just for you.”
