We live in the post-Toronto musical world. Artists like Drake, Pressa, Tory Lanez, Nav, Kardinal Offishal, Jimmy Prime K-os, K’naan, and Saukrates have form the sound of modern Canadian Rap. Following in their footsteps, JayJayJoshua, a bilingual native of Toronto currently residing in Amsterdam, has started his own, burgeoning Rap career. Clearly influenced by artists like Drake and Pressa, the jet-setter has developed his own sound and made his own way into the music business.
In one of his more recent singles
“Let It Pop'”, JayJay Joshua and Jake Paul float over a soul-sample
beat. That’s not the only way JayJayJoshua can sell you on his music. He’s
collaborated with Dutch rapper Kosso and also recently teased a record within
the Tory Lanez, which has gained a lot of traction. The song, “Watching
You,” featuring Tory and Boeuf, is hopefully coming soon. Check out more
of rapper JayJayJoshua for something new.
