With a net worth of $342 billion, Musk’s business ventures cover a wide range of sectors. He has significant investments in the social media platform X, continues to steer Tesla and SpaceX, and has been instrumental in the development of PayPal and Neuralink.
Born in South Africa and now a Canadian-American entrepreneur, Musk has once again solidified his status as one of the most impactful and innovative leaders in the business landscape.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta ($216 billion), came in second on the list, right behind Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon ($215 billion).
Forbes reports that 3,028 billionaires with a total net worth of $16.1 trillion make up the list. America has the most billionaires, followed by China and India, according to Forbes.
According to the American business magazine, it used the stock prices and exchange rates as of March 7 to calculate its figures.
The ages of the top 25 richest people ranged from 40 to 94.
These include entrepreneurs heirs, entrepreneurs, tech founders, and cosmetic experts.
France, Spain, Mexico, India, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates are the countries of origin for two, one, and one, respectively. The United States is home to the remaining 18 of the top 25 billionaires.
